Job Description:               
For many of our guests, the ticket office is the first point of contact they have with our company; as a ticket agent you will be part of a busy and dynamic team responsible for our guests’ first impression of Big White Ski Resort. You will need to demonstrate impeccable customer service and communication skills as well as be ready to “go the extra mile” to ensure that every guest experience with the ticket office is pleasant and hassle free.

  • Cash handling skills

  • Reliable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Hospitality/Tourism related experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of Sirius ticketing system is an asset
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is an asset
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Sell lift tickets at various locations
  • Sell and process season passes, including staff and volunteer season passes
  • Sell and process gift cards and all related promotional discounts affiliated with lift tickets
  • Maintain lost and found records and property
  • Provide general information on facilities at Big White Ski Resort
  • Address guest inquiries in person as well as via e-mail and telephone
  • Practice open communication with the tickets manager and assistant manager
  • Maintain excellent relationships and communication with all Big White Ski Resort and Big White Central Reservations departments
 
Physical Demands:
 
  • Must be able to sit for long periods at operating computer station
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs/9 Kg
  • Able to work in all weather conditions on occasion
