 Employment: Seasonal F/T

Reporting to the Events Supervisor & Events Manager, the Guest Services Team Member is responsible for the organization and execution of all daily, weekly and seasonal events. As well, responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance and overall appearance of the Village and surrounding buildings.

Position Requirements/Skills:

  • Proven self-motivation, ability to work well with minimum supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail
  • Work well within a diverse team environment
  • Flexible availability: including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
  • Driver’s License

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning, executing and teardown of all events handled by Guest Services
  • Complete daily cleaning duties as per job list
  • Maintain and control cleaning supplies inventory
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless delivery of events
  • Set up and maintain all audio equipment for  events
  • Assist other departments as required
  • Setup and tear down of all events
  • Work cooperatively as a member of the Guest Service Team
  • Comply with all department and company policies, and procedures
  • Perform other tasks, as assigned by management
  • Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit and stand for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25kg
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill duties
  • Requires grasping, using tools, writing, standing, sitting, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity
