Big White Ski Resort, near Kelowna BC, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Guest Services & Events Manager.  Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, this person will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Guest Services including the Activities Desk, Events, and Custodial for our dynamic company. Responsibilities will include:
  • Train and manage Activities Desk team, Events team & custodial team
  • Provide exceptional guest service, including handling guest complaints and guest feedback in a professional and prompt manner
  • Plan & execute resort events
  • Assist with hosting media, familiarization tours & VIP guests
  • Maintain accurate and relevant content on Big White’s website.  Write press releases, newsletters, eblasts and monitor social media
Position Requirements/Skills:    
  • Proven experience managing a team
  • Proven self-motivation, ability to work well with minimum supervision
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
  • Flexible availability: including evenings, early mornings, weekends and statutory holidays
  • Driver’s Licence

This is a full-time career located at Big White Ski Resort. The position offers a busy workload during the winter season at Big White and the ability to work from our head office in Kelowna during the sunny Okanagan summers.
