Additional responsibilities of the cook for the Kid’s Centre include: Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of foods and drinks available at the Kid’s Centre; Preparing food and drink purchase orders in a timely fashion to avoid shortfalls; Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area; Practicing at all times safe and sanitary preparation of food; and exercising good portion control for the numbers of children in the Kids Centre on any given day, thus limiting the amount of unnecessary food cooked.
To be considered all applicants must submit a resume with at least two references who can be contacted, have completed the Level 1 Food Safe BC course (or recognized equivalent) and provide a copy of any current/relevant certification(s) in culinary training.
